Garmin watch straps are available in a variety of colours and materials, allowing the user to choose the style that best suits his/her individual needs.

A leather strap provides a classic timeless look, while a Garmin strap made of silicone material is lightweight and perfect for a more casual look.

Garmin watch straps in nylon provide a combination of style and durability; ideal for those seeking an option for an active lifestyle.

For added protection from the elements, a metal strap for your Garmin watch can provide resilience without weighing your wrist down. Whatever material you choose, these stylish Garmin watch straps all feature quick-release pins that make it easy to change your look in an instant.

With a new Garmin strap, you can easily find the right option for any occasion - whether it's casual or formal.

Here are our tips on how to choose a watch strap for your Garmin watch.

Garmin Instinct straps

Garmin describes their Instinct series as a rugged outdoor watch, and it's easy to see why.

Designed for endurance, the Instinct series is the perfect fit for an active lifestyle. Not only is the Garmin Instict series waterproof, it also has revolutionary features like GPS tracking via satellite navigation, features that allow you to retrace your route and a reference point setting so you always know where you are in relation to your car, tent or campsite.

In other words, it's the perfect watch for the avid trail runners, skiers and mountain bikers among us.

When you have such a durable Garmin watch on your wrist with so many options and settings, it's important to keep this in mind when purchasing a Garmin strap.

Let's face it, the Garmin Instinct is not a regular watch and should not be treated as such - and while it will still look good during a meeting or function as a regular watch when you're just relaxing around the house, it's built for more than that.

That's why we recommend a high-quality silicone strap for your Garmin Instinct watch. The silicone strap will be comfortable against your skin wherever you are, and it will also be able to withstand sweat, rain, mud, snow and whatever nature throws at it - it also contributes to a suitably sporty look.

Garmin Forerunner straps

As the name suggests, the Garmin Forerunner series has running in its DNA - and it lives up to expectations on all fronts.

Not only does the Garmin Forerunner give you suggestions for daily workouts, act as your personal trainer and is packed with built-in sports apps, it does so much more.

Designed to help you perform and get results, Garmin Forerunner gives you an overview of your training power, route, distance and speed.

It also stores your training history and tells you how long you need to recover before your next workout.

If it's time to replace your current strap with a new one, we recommend a nylon watch strap. Our nylon straps come in a variety of colours and the material is soft on your wrist while you run.

Nylon also breathes and doesn't cause irritation to the skin. The Velcro fastening also makes the strap easy to adjust in size.

Garmin Vivoactive straps

The Garmin Vivoactive is an incredibly versatile watch. While still a watch for a more active lifestyle, the focus of the Vivoactive is more generally on health.

The Vivoactive helps track your stress, sleep, breathing and hydration, and design-wise it fits just as well in the gym, on the hiking trail or in the office.

A versatile Garmin watch requires a versatile Garmin strap, which is why we recommend a strap in either genuine leather or faux leather.

A Garmin strap in leather is comfortable, durable and suitable for almost any occasion. The leather gives your watch a classic look.

Whether you need a new Garmin watch strap for primary use, or you want to change your watch strap for something different, we have many different straps for the Garmin Vivoactive series to choose from.

Garmin Fenix straps

The Garmin Fenix series is another rugged and rugged Garmin outdoor watch that's ready for anything.

The Fenix series is the watch of choice for mountain bikers, climbers and triathletes. Along with the tracking features that we expect from Garmin watches, the Fenix series also has safety features (which are very important in the outdoors) and wonderful buttons that provide the wonderful haptic feedback that is missing in many smartwatches.

To keep up with the Garmin Fenix's rugged nature, we recommend a metal Garmin strap.

A stainless steel Garmin strap sits comfortably and securely on your wrist and fits well in the outdoors and at home.

A Garmin watch strap in metal is also lightweight and gives your watch a sophisticated look. We have many different metal straps, in several colors.

A short notice about Garmin QuickFit and quick release

One of our absolute favourite features is the Garmin quick release and Garmin quickfit. This allows you to easily and quickly remove the strap and change the strap on your Garmin watches without tools.

Although these two terms (release and fit) are used almost interchangeably, they actually mean different things. A quick release Garmin watch strap is the classic, industrial standard for fastening watches. The strap attaches to the watch with a sprint that is pushed back and forth.

QuickFit, on the other hand, is Garmin's own patented attachment. With QuickFit straps, the strap snaps onto a bar attached to the watch face.

Before you buy anything, double-check which attachment your Garmin uses - but any Garmin watch strap available in the category for your watch will, of course, be compatible.
