Amazfit Active Max straps and accessories
To get the most out of your smartwatch’s health and fitness features, you need a watch strap that fits perfectly on your wrist around the clock. An interchangeable strap lets you tailor the device to your daily needs, so it blends in and performs optimally whatever the setting.
Materials and fit
The fit is crucial for the watch’s optical heart rate sensors to deliver accurate data. A strap that’s too loose will give incorrect readings, whilst one that’s too tight will quickly cause skin irritation when worn for long periods. To ensure maximum comfort, it’s important to choose skin-friendly and flexible materials. A breathable design and moisture-wicking properties allow your skin to breathe, minimising the risk of chafing and making you almost forget you’re wearing the watch.
Activity and lifestyle
Choosing the right materials makes a huge difference to how well the watch integrates into your life.
- If you train hard and sweat a lot: Then a sports strap made from soft, high-quality silicone is by far the best choice. The material is easy to rinse off, dries quickly and withstands both salt and external wear and tear.
- If you primarily use the watch for sleep tracking and recovery: Then we recommend a feather-light nylon strap that moulds seamlessly to your wrist. Its softness and breathability make it ideal for 24/7 use and restful nights.
- If you need a professional look during the working day: A solid metal or leather strap elevates the watch’s aesthetic from a purely fitness-focused tool to a stylish, premium accessory, without compromising on safety.
Frequently asked questions about straps for the Amazfit Active Max
What strap width fits my Amazfit Active Max?
The Amazfit Active Max uses a standard 22 mm lug width. All watch straps you’ll find in this specific category have been carefully selected and are guaranteed to have the correct width and fit for your particular device.
How easy is it to change the watch strap?
It only takes a few seconds. The straps are fitted with built-in quick-release pins. Simply pull the small metal lever on the back of the strap to the side to detach it from the watch case, and do the same to click the new strap into place. No tools are required.
How do I clean my watch strap after a sweaty workout?
Silicone or nylon straps should be cleaned regularly to prevent skin irritation and maintain the quality of the material. Rinse the strap under lukewarm water and use a mild, fragrance-free soap to remove dirt and sweat. Always allow the strap to air-dry thoroughly before putting it back on your wrist.
Can I swim and shower with all types of straps?
The watch itself is water-resistant, but not all materials are ideal for this. If you swim or shower whilst wearing the watch, we recommend a silicone or metal strap, as these are extremely water-resistant. Nylon straps are water-resistant but take longer to dry, whilst leather straps should be kept away from moisture to prevent the material from cracking or losing its shape.
