Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm straps & accessories

The more compact 44mm version of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is designed for those who want advanced tracking technology in a sleeker format. To maintain its slim and feather-light profile, a strap with a proportionate design is required. A lightweight watch needs a flexible strap that holds the case securely against the skin without weighing down your wrist during long working days or intense training sessions.

Material and fit

When you wear your smartwatch 24/7, the microclimate between the strap and your skin is crucial to your comfort. If you’re one of those users who track their sleep and wear the watch snugly, then a seamless, elastic nylon strap is the ideal solution, as the weave allows the skin to breathe and prevents chafing. If, on the other hand, you focus on sweaty fitness sessions, a flexible silicone strap ensures that moisture is wicked away immediately.

As the 44mm case is lighter, it’s crucial that the strap fits snugly to prevent the watch from bouncing whilst running. If the strap is even a few millimetres too loose, the optical heart rate sensors will lose contact with your skin, resulting in gaps in your health data.

Workouts and everyday use

Your daily routines dictate which strap performs best. If you frequently switch between the gym and the office, it’s a good idea to have different straps for different purposes. A durable, water-repellent sports strap handles grit, sweat and friction with ease, making it perfect for outdoor activities.

If you then want to dress up your smartwatch for the meeting room, a sleek leather strap can give your tech device a warm, professional look. By adapting the material to the situation, you can make the most of your watch’s full potential around the clock.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a strap from the 48mm model on my 44mm watch?

No, unfortunately that won’t work. The compact 44mm model has a narrower lug width than its larger counterpart. You’ll therefore need to choose a strap from this specific category, which is specifically designed to click into the 44mm case’s lugs without wobbling or having to be forced into place.

Do I need special tools to fit the new straps?

It depends on the design, but changing them is always straightforward. Most of our modern watch straps are fitted with built-in quick-release pins that you can easily pull back with your fingernail. If your specific watch model uses screw-in lugs, we’ll include the small precision tools needed so you can change the strap in under a minute.

Which material is easiest to keep clean after a sweaty workout?

Silicone is by far the easiest material to look after for fitness enthusiasts. All you need to do is rinse the strap under running tap water and, if necessary, wipe it down with a little mild hand soap to remove salt and sweat. Nylon straps can absorb more moisture and should be gently hand-washed with a mild detergent and then air-dried to prevent bacterial growth.

Are fabric and nylon straps safe to use in the pool and shower?

Yes, high-quality nylon and fabric straps are definitely water-resistant and can be worn whilst swimming. However, they do not dry as quickly as silicone. If you go swimming in a chlorinated pool or salt water, we recommend rinsing the nylon strap in clean fresh water afterwards to preserve the elasticity and colour of the fibres over time. Leather, on the other hand, should be kept completely away from showers and baths.
